Two different souls, yet somehow we were fortunate enough to connect 15+ years ago. And as the saying goes, the rest is history.
Pete, (who was nicknamed that as a child by his mom) is really named Matt. Emme, (again, just a nickname) is really named Emily. Together, we make Pete and Emme- A small woodworking shop located in a tiny town in Southern MN. We focus on custom woodworks of all kinds. From start to finish, we do it all right here, old school, slow and steady but each piece contains a piece of us and we make each piece as if it were going in our home.
Our careers have always been kept separate. His in the trades, mine in the medical imaging field. As we aged, our fondness for family and precious time together has grown and our passions have come into sync with one another. Our girls-now such beautiful young women, join us in this new journey and we love being able to share all of this with them.
Matt's hands are excellent and watching him create is truly unreal. He is in his own world...and he loves it. His experience and knowledge are priceless and I absolutely love designing with him. I (Emily) am totally inspired by all the beautiful woods, sleek and clean lines, and unexpected pairings of materials. Since starting this process, I have learned SO much and have grown to appreciate nature on a totally different scale.
Together we try to be as eco-friendly and sustainable as possible. We source our wood locally whenever possible and work towards zero waste, using minimal packaging yet still keeping our minimalistic and beautiful vibe alive.
Whatever brought you to this page, thank you. Your support means so much to us as we embark on this new adventure together. Not every day is good, but there certainly is good in every day.
